Summer is upon us and – even if in this part of Europe the weather does not allow skirts and tank top – the sea is always in my thoughts. So I made a new doll, mermaid and “turquoise” fairy at the same time. Maybe she can give us good advice and fulfill small desires.

Continues my amigurumi doll collection (here‘s the bunny doll) which will continue for a while. Crochet hook and cotton yarn are always my faithful allies; the soft balls of Natura DMC have the perfect shades to make the most of the magic of the ocean and white small sequins, sewn one by one on the tail, complete my “turquoise mermaid” .

From the pictures you can see a slight nuance in the hair that are made with two shades of blue (Aguamarina n.25 and Turquoise n.49). I know, I know, make the hair and make them with cotton yarn is not really simple, but weave a fishtail braid with cotton that enhances every curve dries all the sweat poured!
