PDF pattern for a crochet maxi cowl which includes written instructions and step by step photos. It is available in English (US and UK crochet terms) and Italian.

Binario is a maxi cowl especially suitable for crocheters who are eager to learn something new. In fact, attached to this pattern you can find two instruction sheets that illustrate step-by-step and with pictures the chainless foundation technique and the front post treble crochet (AmE: Front post double crochet). A technique and a stitch not very commonly used but certainly very interesting!

Size: one size, 23 cm (height) by 130 cm (circumference)

Materials:
– 5 mm crochet hook
– Worsted weight yarn (approx 300 g)
– Tapestry needle

Measurements and components:
The maxi cowl is worked in the round, every round is closed with a slip stitch. The starting row does not include the usual foundation chaining, I used the double crochet starting method instead (find attached step-by-step instructions). To get a shorter or classic cowl start with a smaller number of st (using a multiple of the rib module).
