Walnut. Crochet fingerless gloves
When I want to knit or crochet something for myself I can never pick the right time, I’d love long minutes to think about all the details and to make slow and precise stitiches.
I generally cutout a bit of time and go in a hurry. I make a stitch after another as fast as possible, hoping to wear as soon as possible my new accessory.
This time it was different. I wanted to prepare a pair of fingerless gloves (obviously crocheting) for the last winter issue of an Italian magazine and I took the opportunity to crochet a pair of gloves just for me.
Walnut is the name of these fingerless gloves made with a fan shaped pattern, slightly like a lacy. They are sufficiently warm for a not too hard winter and avoid the tedious task of having to take off the gloves to make every single gesture.
The pattern to make Walnut gloves is in the Italian magazine Casa Creativa 28 – only in Italian. I’ve also designed a hat that match with this gloves, the test is in progress right now, they will be available on Ravelry in a short time!
