When I want to knit or crochet something for myself I can never pick the right time, I’d love long minutes to think about all the details and to make slow and precise stitiches.
I generally cutout a bit of time and go in a hurry. I make a stitch after another as fast as possible, hoping to wear as soon as possible my new accessory.
This time it was different. I wanted to prepare a pair of fingerless gloves (obviously crocheting) for the last winter issue of an Italian magazine and I took the opportunity to crochet a pair of gloves just for me.

Walnut is the name of these fingerless gloves made with a fan shaped pattern, slightly like a lacy. They are sufficiently warm for a not too hard winter and avoid the tedious task of having to take off the gloves to make every single gesture.
