Project Description
Marmotta maxi scarf is a PDF crochet pattern which includes written instructions and diagram of the crochet motif. It is available in English (US crochet terms) and Italian.
The 2nd of February in North America is Groundhog Day (Marmotta is the italian for Groundhog!), a tradition that dates back centuries and that is linked to the old Candlemas day. In the US, people watch for the appearance of a groundhog: it is said that if the animal comes out of its hole to see the sun, winter is almost over and spring will come soon. Just to be sure, and lacking a groundhog hole to watch, I’d say it is better to crochet a super-warm and extra-cosy maxi scarf (which by the way is unisex!) to fight off the cold weather with style.
