Dress-Up Bears is a 3 in 1 pattern which includes the amigurumi bear pattern and 3 crochet costumes (dress + hat) to make the Straw-Bear-ry, Bee-Bear and Flower Bear
PDF crochet pattern with written instructions and step by step photos is available in my Etsy e Ravelry store.

As a child I was never tired of dressing and undressing my stuffed animals and dolls, wrapped them in handkerchiefs and dishcloths to “create” new outfits. The Dress-Up Bears idea is born of those memories… improving a bit the final results! So the grown-ups can have fun making crochet dresses and the little ones playing with the bears.

I have to admit that it’s fun to choose the theme and make the costumes, just like when I was little! I designed many costumes and accessories, and finally I picked this trio: Strawberry, Bee and Flower seemed simply perfect for this season.
The strawberry is the simplest costume of the three. The yellow seeds embroidered here and there and the green stem do make it fun.
The bee has a classic striped dress, cute small wings and black antennas.
The daisy/flower is the most complex, so I added lots of step photos to guide all the adventurous beginners along the way. There are white petals on the edge of the dress and the hat is sprinkled with popcorn stitches to simulate a flower center.
