Denim. Reversible bag
Roomy, versatile, cool, sturdy. These could be the adjectives to describe your perfect summer bag. Well, easier said than found.
So while you look for your dream summer bag, why not crochet one yourself, with the help of a hook and an incredibly colourful cotton yarn.
Being unable to make up my mind on the right colour, the right texture or the right stitch to use, I eventually decided to use them all in a reversible, amazingly versatile summer bag. A sandy, soft colour on one side, decorated with a vaguely lacy pattern, and big colourful stripes on the other, perfect for when you feel romantic or energetic.
I’ve made this bag with Schachenmayr “Catania Denim” Cotton
, I’ve chase the natural colour for the lacy side and lemon, tangerine, watermelon and denim for the maxi-striped side.
The yarn has a pleasantly opaque look and its colours possess a real denim effect to them: they are not totally solid but have some sort of undertone that makes them really unique.
